2024 Updates Recap
Now that 2024 is behind us, we're thrilled to reflect on the incredible journey we shared throughout the past year in Woozworld. From thrilling new features to impactful changes, we've been working hard to make Woozworld better for you, our amazing community. Let's take a moment to reflect on everything we've accomplished together, and tell us in the comments what were your favorite changes in 2024!
What Changed in 2024?
This year has been packed with updates designed to improve your experience in Woozworld. Here are some highlights:
Fullscreen and Side-Panels Mode:
The User Interface can be configured to your tastes and needs to be better usable on all your different devices with different screen sizes (ex: PC vs mobile app)
Quick Chat Messages:
Lets you create your own pre-set messages to be able to communicate faster without having to type every message. Extra useful for games and events hosting, you can prepare your script in advance and focus on the hosting.
More Tools for Unitz Owners and Co-Hosts:
We added plenty of tools and shortcuts to help Unitz owners and their co-hosts manage their Unitz and events. For example:
- Ability to mute all or specific users in your Unitz
- Shortcuts to kick and teleport users quickly and easily
- Options to turn off votes and Spellz
- Increased Unitz capacity to 50 users!!
Blueprints Feature
Addition of a super powerful tool that lets you copy, store, and share your Unitz and Wired designs. Using this system you can easily save your room design to try different things and go back to previous designs, you can easily copy and move your designs & wired circuits from a Unitz to another, or you can help your friends by sharing your designs with them!
Note: this Blueprints feature still needs to be activated in "Beta Features"
Improved Trade Requests System
Manage trade requests with greater ease, along with many other improvements.
Various Improvements to Private Chat and Chat History
We improved different aspects of the Private Chat and Chat History features:
- You can search through Chat History, or filter by specific users
- We clearly identify in Chat History which messages are from Unitz owner / co-hosts
- You can see if your Private Chat contacts are currently online or not
- You can mute notifications on Private Chat conversations
- You can now use EmoZ in Private Chat!
Wired Improvements:
We added various new functionalities to Wired system:
- Added new Vector tools, to help control destinations and movements
- Made Animated furniture wireable, so they can be used in games
- New Sound tiles to let you create your own musical composition
Also added new Delayers to help control the signal flow in your circuits, an advanced mode to show only wires from selected furniture, and various other enhancements.
Customizable Entry Gateways
We added the ability to change the appearance and recolor the entry gateways in your Unitz.
Improved Unitz Design Tools + Furniture Vault:
We opened the Furniture Vault, giving access to thousands of furniture that were not available anymore.
We also implemented new tools to help you browse and find the furniture you need (search by type, function, size, colors, etc.).
We also added the ability to recolor multiple furniture at once:
Improvements to Closet:
An "Undo" option makes trying out different outfits easier, if you don't like the latest piece you just tried you can simply go back:
You can now also search your Closet by colors:
Cameras and Improved FrameZ:
A revamped interface to manage your FrameZ, new scrolling FrameZ, and new cameras to film and stream in your Unitz.
New Woozen SkinZ:
Introduced options to deeply customize the look of your Woozen by changing your own SkinZ:
New Woozen Accessories:
This is a big one! We added hundreds of new accessories to customize your Woozen even further and be more unique! Glasses, earrings, necklaces, hair accessories, and so much more!
Stackable Building Blocks
We brought Woozworld to the next level by adding the ability to stack furniture on Building Blocks:
Dynamic Unitz Backgrounds
We introduced the first generation of animated Unitz backgrounds that include ambiances:
